Edit: Tweaked it a bit to close up the gap that would appear if screwed down tightly on the LED side as it was acting a bit as a lever. I fixed the geometry that allowed this to happen in v4. v5 has small vertical ridges that help add grip if you dont want futher post processing, its adds a ton of grip. v6 has a spiral on the grip section, was just playing around with the design and style. It offers a little more grip that v4 without fuzzy skin mode. I designed this version of the OM system Camera Grip 1 based on the original Camera Grip 1, which currently is extremely rare and thus quite expensive. I am fortunate enough to have two of them, and thought in creating this would allow others to have them to use, and through that enjoy the beautiful Olympus OM cameras and film photography just a bit more. This grip will fit OM-4, OM-4T, OM-4Ti, OM-3, OM-3T cameras and should fit the OM-2SP (I do not have the OM-2SP and cannot confirm). The grip itself is modeled very closely to the original grip and allows the user to better handle their camera, especially when holding it with one hand. It is secured with one 5mm M3 screw. The original uses a proprietary extra wide flat head screw that can be taken off with a coin such as a nickel. I opted to use a nylon screw to attach it in the final version to prevent it from shaking loose from vibration. The grip itself is smooth, you have the option to use it as it, or cover it in a textured/grip surface. You can either rough it up with sand paper, cover it in plastidip, cover it in a clear coat/acrylic spray, glue leather wrapping onto it, etc. I printed my final version with Cura's fuzzy mode to add texture, and then applied a thick coat of liquid electrical tape (a thicker version of plastidip). I am currently printing a version in fuzzy carbon fiber. This is the third prototype of the part and was designed by scanning the base of the original part, creating a vector from it, and accurate digital calipers to transfer the correct lengths over. The lead up this project stems from instamorph camera grips I showed members on APUG how to create for their OM cameras dating back to about 2012.
