I initially focus on the emblem of peace from Japan's perspective. From an elevated viewpoint, it conveys the message of peace. The Emperor of Japan serves as the leader of the Imperial Family and the head of state for Japan. Under the 1947 constitution, he is described as "the symbol of the State and of national unity." Although simplicity was a goal, I opted for carbon steel to create a sturdy framework. Next, a representation of the Japanese language functions as a switch to activate the ignition in the torch.
