The Olympic Stadium, also known as Olympisch Stadion in Dutch, is the primary stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics held in Amsterdam. Currently, it serves primarily for athletics and musical events. AFC Ajax utilized the Olympic Stadium for international games until 1996 when the Amsterdam Arena, renamed Johan Cruyff Arena in 2018, was completed. Renovation began in 1996, transforming the stadium into its original 1928 design. The second ring from 1937 was removed, reducing capacity to 22,288, and making it suitable for track and field competitions once again. Since 2005, a sports museum, Olympic Experience Amsterdam, has called the stadium home. Starter Model Approximate Dimensions.
