Oloid

Paul Schatz unveiled the oloid in 1929, a three-dimensional curved geometric shape. The oloid is essentially the outer layer that encloses the framework made by positioning two interconnected congruent circles within perpendicular planes. Each circle's center rests on the other circle, and the distance between these centers matches each circle's radius. One third of each circle's circumference lies inside this outer shell, allowing a similar shape to be created as well by encompassing the remaining circular arcs that span an angle of 4π/3.
