This kit is designed to make the laser height completely adjustable. I went through many prototypes and fine tuned these parts to be as precise as possible without being too tight. Designed on Fusion360. I printed them in ABS 45% cubic subdivision infill. I acetone vapour bath finished the base to make it glossy. This caused a slight shrinking and now the pipe is a little bit too tight, but still very acceptable. Wobbling from side to side will allow for removal. I did not do a vapour bath the adapter pieces so that they're easy to remove, yet still very rigid. The pipes used are pictured. Specs were PVC pressure pipe (PN12, DN25). Their actual outside diameter is 33.6mm according to Bunnings website. The inner diameter isn't actually 25mm either. Weird. You must use pipes of identical inner and outer diameter. https://www.bunnings.com.au/holman-25mm-x-1m-class-12-pressure-pvc-pipe_p4770100 The pipes can be cut to any desired length. I cut sets of FOUR pipes in sizes from 25 to 150mm using a table saw. A vice and hand saw could work. The >80mm sizes are required to use the rotary tool. I designed a foot adapter, which does not require any PVC pipe as I wanted to be able to get the laser head as low as possible for those close jobs. You will need FOUR countersunk screws for each base. Print FOUR base pieces. Print TWO of each adapter. Cut FOUR of the PVC pipes to any length. Screw the front left corner base in place and then screw the rear left base in place... work in a fashion where you constantly check alignment. I advise using a self-centering drill bit to pilot the holes.
