Olivia Kinnaird at The Scottish National Gallery, Scotland
myminifactory
Olivia Kinnaird (1808-1899) was the eldest daughter of sculptor Lord Kinnaird's Perthshire patron and Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird, her elder brother, who modeled for Campbell's The Young Ascanius in 1822. This bust may have been completed in Rome or London, where he opened a studio after returning to Britain in 1830. The style of the bust shows his appreciation of antique Roman portrait sculpture, a taste shared by his cultured patrons. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
