Oliver dropped by the Big Bang Fair and stepped into our high-tech scanning rig, which comprises a total of 96 DSLR cameras capturing an astonishing 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We quickly got to work processing the data with a huge assist from our friends at CapturingReality.com - their top-notch software is able to analyze each image, identifying unique points on each one before plotting these points in 3D space if they appear on more than one image.
