Olive Jar Terrarium

Olive Jar Terrarium

This is a pedestal to hold a repurposed olive jar and an abandoned glass to create a decorative miniature terrarium. Something to liven up my Dilbert cube. The pedestal is designed to screw onto a very large olive/pickle jar with a 102mm lid, making it safe to pick up the jar and glass as a single item. I had two mismatched glasses, so I created a base section without a glass holder. Then I imported that base into the two different glass holder designs: - OliveJarTerrariumBase.scad has no glass holder. - OliveJarTerrarium80mmGlass.scad imports OliveJarTerrariumBase.scad - OliveJarTerrarium68mmGlass.scad imports OliveJarTerrariumBase.scad Note: You will need to change the import path to the full file path of OliveJarTerrariumBase.scad. I've provided all the OpenSCAD files so you can adjust your glass holder to fit your own glass size. If you have a glass of similar size, just print the STL. Or, you can simply print the base STL and have no glass holder. Note that the 68mm glass holder is tapered. While I printed my pedestal in PLA at 0.2mm resolution, the design is simple enough that it should work with most filament types.
