Olive Harvest

In my first olive harvest experience last year, I faced challenges working with a heavy, hard-to-control machinery on tall trees. With my family's oil production in mind, I sought a more efficient method. My innovative solution is a user-friendly machine that operates with a generator and can be assembled by one person quickly. It features a runaway with easily connectable parts to create a square around olive trees, allowing the forks – made from soft plastic materials – to safely hit branches and drop olives. Adjustable fork sets cater to various tree heights and morphologies. Farmers simply spread nets below the tree for olive collection. My project streamlines the harvest process, requiring fewer people and less time spent in the countryside.
