Olimex A20 board housing styled after Wilson Hall
thingiverse
This enclosure cradles the A20 single board computer / Dev board from Olimex. Its design takes inspiration from the Wilson hall building at the Tevatron facility. To achieve a convincing resemblance to the original structure, it's best to print all sections except for the bridge in a cream/light-grey/stone/concrete type filament and use a translucent colorless filament for the bridge, allowing visibility of status LEDs through the case. Other colors will result in a more dramatic but less realistic appearance. This case holds the A20 board as well as a 2.5" HDD and a backup battery, with some space for additional custom PCBs to be housed inside. The sides of the enclosure are printed in two parts that need to be glued together using bolt holes for proper alignment. The central bridge section is also printed in two parts but doesn't require gluing as it's retained by four M5 bolts closing up the housing. Internally, parts are secured by support clips and small wood screws.
