Alexander Petrovich Dovzhenko or Oleksandr Petrovych Dovzhenko was born on September 10 [O.S. August 29] in 1894 and died on November 25, 1956. He was a renowned Soviet screenwriter, film producer, and director of Ukrainian origin. Dovzhenko is often credited as one of the most influential early Soviet filmmakers, alongside Sergei Eisenstein and Vsevolod Pudovkin, and a pioneer of Soviet montage theory. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for free public access.
