The rim of a Plain jar from the Historic Saratown phase (1670-1710 AD) was unearthed at the William Kluttz site in Stokes County, North Carolina. Measuring 59.4 mm long and 51.8 mm wide with a thickness of 4.8 mm, this ceramic artifact is a significant find in the region's archaeological history. It is now part of the collection (Catalog no. 2388p875) at the Research Laboratories of Archaeology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where it serves as Vessel 6. The model for this jar was created by Abigail Gancz.
