The Oldtown Plain jar is a ceramic artifact discovered at the Belmont Site (44Hr3) in Henry County, Virginia. It dates back to the Late Woodland period, specifically the Dan River phase, which spans from AD 1250 to 1450. The jar measures 13.9 cm in height and 19.3 cm in diameter. This artifact is cataloged as number 2356p53 within the North Carolina Archaeological Collection, housed at the Research Laboratories of Archaeology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
