Oldish UK lightswitch rocker replacement

Oldish UK lightswitch rocker replacement

thingiverse

This DIY bathroom light replacement is a unique hack that repurposes a spring-loaded peg from an old rocker switch. While it may not be universally useful, if you have a faulty rocker switch with a 31.5 mm tall by 16.6 mm wide lever and a broken clip, this fix might be exactly what you need! I needed to drill out the rear hole using a 3.4ish mm drill bit so that the spring-loaded peg would fit snugly. After completing this project, I can attest that it functions seamlessly and looks far neater than its predecessor, which is now well over two decades old! I made sure to print this light fixture upright with supports, maximizing the strength of the tube extending from the rear as well as the clips on either side. The model was designed using Moray for Windows V3.5.
