Oldham's coupling

When three-disc couplings are installed, one disc is directly connected to the input shaft while another disc is coupled to the output torque. A spring is utilized in this mechanism to minimize the coupling backlash. As power transmission takes place from one drive to another, the center disc slides smoothly along the torque of each hub.
