Oldham Coupling

Oldham couplings are three-piece designs featuring two aluminum hubs press-fit onto a central disk. Torque transmission occurs via the slotted center disk matching drive tenons on the hubs. During operation, the disk glides along each hub's tenons (oriented 90° apart) to transmit torque. These couplings handle slight angular and axial misalignment, but particularly excel in applications with parallel misalignment. This model showcases an Oldham Coupling, designed using Autodesk Inventor.
