Oldham Coupling model
thingiverse
How to transmit rotational power between two misaligned parallel shafts? Using a simple yet effective solution - an Oldham Coupling! This model is not functional, so don't try to use it under heavy load or for extended periods. Tight tolerances require some sanding to get it right. The Fusion 360 file is attached, making it easy to modify. I used 608ZZ bearings in this project: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/s8JoQ4Ic (no extra cost for you, I just got a small commission). Check out my video about this model: https://youtu.be/U0KGhF70WEQ. I first saw this design on 9gag: https://9gag.com/gag/abrqo98. Recreating it with 3D printing was a great experience - the movement is mesmerizing and the design is both simple and effective.
