I simply replaced the mortise and tenon joint with a more precise fit, eliminating any potential wobble. A quick test confirms it's a solid solution. One area that still needs improvement is the support system. I'm grateful to ndupont for suggesting the 'Nema17 5x8 Oldham coupler' design and allowing me to share my Freecad projects freely! A small amount of specialized grease between the plastic components ensures a seamless, frictionless joint with zero play.
