It suddenly dawned on me that the issue might stem from excessive friction between the TBI ball screws and the X-axis. The ball screws are supposed to have a slight play, which should prevent z banding from occurring. However, the metal bracket attached directly to them prevents this intended movement due to the immense friction between the two parts. I attempted to mitigate this by applying lubricants and experimenting with other methods, but my efforts only resulted in loose contact at one end and high friction at the other. To rectify this problem, I designed an Oldham Coupler to connect the ball screws to the X-axis bracket, and it has worked remarkably well.
