I created a custom mount/holder using Fusion 360 software! I salvaged an older tripod that was collecting dust, but no one produces holders specifically for phones so I measured my iPhone X and the mount opening. With those dimensions in hand, I designed the part and printed it along with the 10 mm square cube that serves as a snap-fit connector to hold everything together. Now, I can record my work without interruptions and eliminate tedious hours of re-recording when I wasn't able to capture footage initially.
