[OLD VERSION] Folk flute, soprano (+8), tapered bore

thingiverse

This flute, or fife, has a soprano size with a simplified fingering system similar to that of a pennywhistle. Made up of three slider sections, it requires blue teflon plumbing tape for the joints which must form a tight seal. A faulty sound can be due to tiny holes; thus, ensure there are no such issues. Alternatively, one could create this instrument through milling wooden pieces and gluing them together. For more designs and source code, visit http://logarithmic.net/pfh/design.
