Firmly attach a smartphone to an Xbox One controller (Bluetooth version) with a single, snap-on part.IMPORTANT: This model needs to be customized to fit your phone's dimensions (more on this later)Advantages over similar designs:- snap-on fit, no need for screws or articulated parts- phone in front, (not on top of the controller) for better balance and ergonomics- single part, no assembly- designed to not need any supports, no post processingDisadvantages:- fixed positioning (but customizable)How to customize:-This part was created with Autodesk Inventor 2018 version, you need compatible software to do the following.-To customize the phone mount open the "Phone Mount.ipt" part and edit the sketch to fit your phone's dimensions, print a few prototypes of this isolated component until you get a solid grip on your phone.-This is unnecessary but If you want to, you can customize the phone's positioning relative to the controller. To do this open "Assembly1.iam" and edit the constraints (or the parameters in the Inventor "Manage" tab) until you get a comfortable position.- IMPORTANT: The part you want to print is "Controller and phone mount.ipt". To update it with your customizations (in Inventor) open "Assembly1.iam", apply your edits, then do a "local update" on the printable part, then go into Environments->3Dprint to export the .STLPrint:- PLA- three outer shells (perimeters)- 30% rectilinear infill (less is probably fine)Ignore the part "Xbox Phone Mount Base v56.ipt" it was only used to copy the shape of the controller bracket.
