My treasured old teapot from the summer cottage still holds a special place in my heart. I meticulously crafted its 3D model within Autodesk Inventor, leveraging every ounce of my expertise. Once unwrapped in 3D Max, the model made its way into Substance Painter, where a medley of materials came together to bring the teapot to life - a combination of "Steel Rough", "Iron Old", "Steel Gun Mat", and "Steel Rust Surface" seamlessly integrated with intricate layers, masks, and environmental settings courtesy of "tomoco_studio". Although I aimed to utilize the in-built I-ray render in SP, my PC's limited capacity proved too great an obstacle; thus, I opted to export all textures as images before importing them into 3D Max mental ray. The process wasn't straightforward, mainly due to the peculiar nature of my skills which can sometimes find themselves navigating complex software systems with relative ease or a great deal of struggle.
