Old School Phone
thingiverse
I built an old model phone for our school play prop. The initial gap at the connection in my original design, visible between the base and upper post as shown, has been corrected and it should now assemble easily. Instructions Designed in Openscad software. Sliced using Kisslicer. I printed all components, even the earpiece, without supports. However, the bridging on the inside of the earpiece ended up resembling a screen to listen from. I printed at .25 mm layer height and 20% infill, and everything turned out well. If your machine can't bridge properly or you prefer a smooth bottom for the earpiece, add supports; although this may help support rounded edges, which usually print fine without them.
