Old School Mazda Logo Shift Knob
thingiverse
I was working on a Shift Knob for our local Miata club. The Thread specification is correct at M8x1.25, but unfortunately, the opening doesn't fit most shifter rods. However, we discovered that it fits perfectly on a Mazda 3 with no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be redesigning it for the Miata in the future. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 50-100% More Infill = More Weight Notes: I ran prototypes at 10% infill, and it took about an hour to print. I also tested them at both 50% and 100% for added weight. If you're printing in ABS, be sure to color in the logo with a sharpie before flashing it, as the color will remain very bright.
