Old School Giant Christmas Light Bulb

I'm excited to share my take on an old-school giant Christmas light project! You can check out the video I created here: https://youtu.be/WIpTYtSP5B8. My goal was to design a version that could be printed with no supports, and I achieved this by incorporating a clever technique. By adding a color change right after the base finishes printing, you can create a stunning multi-color effect. The bulb portion of the design is specifically optimized for printing without infill, which gives it a delicate, vase-like appearance. One of the standout features of my design is the 5mm LED hole that's carefully modeled into the structure. This allows the LED to diffuse beautifully through the translucent material, creating a warm and inviting glow.
