old-school eskimo snow goggles
thingiverse
Winter is approaching... potentially bringing snow with it. However, you're now prepared. Print these vintage Inuit-style goggles to shield your eyes from harsh sunlight when venturing into the wilderness and prevent snow blindness. There are openings for threading a rubber band through. The entire mask is simple to modify. I essentially wrapped soft fleece around the edges to make it more comfortable, but you can also add a wider edge manually to the STL. All right, actually I saw John Carpenter's The Thing last week. In the opening scene, those Norwegian hunters were tracking that infected dog while wearing these goggles... never mind. Note: Print this in black, as it might appear even more intimidating to passersby while clearing your front porch!
