OLD SAWMILL W WATER WHEEL
thingiverse
This OLD SAWMILL with WATER WHEEL HO scale (1/87th) should be placed on a slight sloping hill on the down side of a pond, stream or lake. The foundation is scale 5 feet and you can reveal as much as you would like around the building. Print the 16 windows twice for a total of 32. The windows are made with two parts that are glued back-to-back (smooth side to smooth side) to represent the horizontal and vertical window glass dividers. The windows can easily be painted a different color first before installing them. Do not remove the BRIM as this is a flange around the window outside when you install them from inside the model to make for easy installation and outer surface alignment. This print also includes a lumber shed. The chimney is optional. For some reason the large buildings did not load properly, contact me directly via my email (garylavart@yahoo.com) and I will send them to you immediately. I exclusively print with PLA and have found that ordinary clear lacquer thinner (Nail polish remover) is a wonderful glue. Make a small test for yourself of two pieces of printed scrap PLA and give it a try. Let sit for 20 seconds and then try to break it apart. It leaves no residue and is applied with a small brush. I've been using lacquer thinner as a glue on stryene and PLA for years. No sloppy or messy glue to show when finished.
