Old entrance gate to an old church - A meticulously crafted photo-realistic 3D scanned model featuring high-definition 4K PBR textures and four levels of detail (LODs) that guarantee unparalleled visual realism. In a detailed 3D Max scene as well as in .fbx format, the slow and swift door opening is animated to perfection. For maximum accuracy, the gate swings inward rather than outward - this eliminates unwelcome collisions with nearby walls. Carefully adorned with symmetrical patterns made from sturdy wooden planks, the entrance is sure to capture the attention of all who pass through it. With a keen eye for detail, our model features sun-drenched scenes that have been baked into the color map - adding an extra layer of realism and authenticity. Although photos of the gate were taken on sunny days, expert post-processing work was done in Photoshop to soften harsh lighting and bring out subtle details. And when it came time to tackle those hard-to-reach areas hidden from view, our modelers performed manual retopology on the base level (LOD 0), and relied on automated decimation for LODs 1 and 2. Performance is guaranteed across a range of specifications, thanks in large part to three meticulously detailed LODs: • lod 0: A staggering 1939 polygons, 3419 triangles, and 1812 vertices combine to deliver a visually stunning experience • lod 1: The second level features a robust 1175 polygons, 649 triangles, and 649 vertices • lod 2: Even the most demanding environments are easily handled by our base model's streamlined 329 polygons, 191 triangles, and 191 vertices. This storied church has a long and complex history that spans multiple faiths. Built between 1746 and 1768 in late baroque style, it initially served as a Catholic place of worship. In 1859, the building was converted to an Orthodox temple - only to be switched back to its original purpose just a decade later. However, fate had other plans for this once-majestic structure. During World War II, the church was repurposed as a vegetable warehouse - and inside, two robust concrete ceilings were installed. After the war subsided, it briefly served both ceremonial and exhibition purposes before finally coming full circle and returning to its original function. An important note: As a result of the "one-sided" nature (no thickness) of this particular geometry model, anyone who intends on incorporating a camera within will need to develop and incorporate the interior, as well as adding a measure of depth to door/gate features.
