Old Padlock Replica

My creation of an old-style lock from scratch was inspired by a design from a manufacturer in Connecticut. The result turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Dual Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 50% Notes: Increasing the infill percentage will give a more authentic feel and can even be used to secure containers without them being blown away! A 20% infill is also an option, although it's quite lightweight. Print both pieces separately then glue them together. To ensure a smooth print, I printed the lock pin slightly into the bed first - this allowed it to print flat without being dragged around by the printer head. Post-Printing: Glue together Adhesive: Super Glue How I Designed This I used Onshape.com, a free CAD platform, to bring my design to life.
