I've got an old iPad model that doubles as a nightstand clock, and it's still going strong after all these years. The original cover came with a foldable magnetic design that was supposed to serve as a stand, but it kept falling over - it just wasn't stable enough. So, I took matters into my own hands and built a more sturdy stand for it, and it works perfectly. What's great is that this custom stand also fits newer iPad models, thanks to its wider slot that accommodates the thicker design of older tablets.
