I love designing buildings in Sketchup 8 and then easily converting them to various 3D formats for a seamless workflow. Native format is indeed .skp and my 3ds Max scene is perfectly set up with Vray 3.00, allowing me to render amazing results quickly. Today's focus is on creating the perfect doors, and I'm thrilled with how they're turning out. Reskinning them with sleek textures from 2-texture.com was a breeze, but one texture had extra leftover goodness that you get to find – a subtle nod to the offset house's design. What's unique about this door setup is how component instances allow for easy scalability and consistency, ensuring everything matches beautifully. Plus, even a grungy bathroom looks amazing in 3D!
