Missing piece for your favorite vehicle !\r\n\r\nSphero's Lightning McQueen is an incredible robotic toy with every detail meticulously crafted. I especially appreciate the concept of wired charging using a red cable that mimics a fuel hose, so I took it a step further and created this vintage gas pump style AC adapter cover.\r\n\r\nI designed it to be compatible with small 3D printers like M3D Micro without requiring supports. However, I noticed that the slicer integrated in the M3D software has trouble processing the entire data set (OldGasPump_All.stl), which is why I broke down the files into separate components (OldGasPump_MainUnit.stl, OldGasPump_PlugHolder.stl, OldGasPump_PricePanel.stl, OldGasPump_Sign.stl). If you experience a similar issue or want to use different color filaments for certain parts, please use these files.\r\nAlso, print OldGasPump.png on glossy paper, cut them out, and attach them to the respective parts.\r\n\r\nIf using PLA and planning to apply adhesive to secure small pieces, I recommend using a type designed for acrylic resin. One drop will bond well to the surface of PLA, but be sure to ventilate thoroughly and handle with care. Adhesive for acrylic resin also works for ABS, although finding good adhesives for PLA can be challenging, so I thought it was worth mentioning.\r\n\r\nYou have two options for using this cover (Please see the usage images). Regardless of which method you choose, please set the outside cable length first and manage the cable inside. The interior space is compact, but the excess cable can be stored in the case as shown in the photo.\r\nWARNING : Use this cover at your own risk. I have no issues using it so far, but a rolled cable may generate heat. Please unplug the adapter from the AC outlet when not in use.\r\n\r\nNote for M3D Micro users : When printing OldGasPump_All.stl or OldGasPump_MainUnit.stl, please disable "Enable skirt" to ensure proper fit on the build plate. Don't worry; you can print them fine without it. You might notice a slight curl of the front panel, which is located at the bottom when printed, but this adds some nice nuance to the pump.
