Print at any resolution, the coarser the better. Secure supports for added stability. Once complete, carefully flex the hinge to shatter the support holding the pin in place. Some minor cleanup may be required around the base of the large pivot point where support residue tends to accumulate, potentially causing sticking or jamming issues during movement. This design performs exceptionally well. For maximum durability, employ a 90% infill for the hinge assembly, resulting in an incredibly robust structure. To achieve a vintage appearance, apply a coat of hammertone paint to the finished piece.
