ahhhrrg! My propeller from my air condition (a fan) crushed! It is a good idea to use my old credit cards and other cards as new paddle with a special mounting device. Is'n it? Yes. But: this "nose" in the middle and the cards is so heavy, that the fan motor goes a bit warm/hot. Thus the cooling effect from rotating invalid credit cards is next to zero.
