I'm submitting one of my entries for Autodesk's Remake contest *Stage 1*. This is a picture-based scan of my shoe, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. As for the contest, this method of 3D scanning could be fantastic for developing a wide range of shoe designs. For this particular shoe, it would be an excellent opportunity to create some exciting new designs for Converse's line. Having a base model to reference and work from is incredibly valuable, especially when designing shoes with many intricate curves that need to be carefully followed.
