The WallScan Challenge has arrived at the Old Chasms Cafe on the Isle of Man. This test case showcases the power of photogrammetric scanning in capturing the exterior facade and seamlessly integrating it with the internal spaces. The 3D model has been expertly sliced to reveal the intricate details of the walls, highlighting the relationship between the interior and exterior areas - note the blocked-up window, old chimney breast, inaccessible zones, and the varying ground levels between the rear and front sections. This precise scan serves as a solid foundation for creating accurate metric building surveys and detailed floor plans, particularly beneficial for heritage structures and irregularly shaped walls that are notoriously difficult to survey. A total of 133 high-resolution photos (13MP Olympus TG4) were aligned and modelled using Agisoft Metashape, delivering exceptional results for the WallScan Challenge. #WallScanChallenge
