At Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, I stumbled upon a concrete monument nestled beside a heap of discarded flower pots. The question that lingered in my mind was: whose final resting place did this monument once adorn? It pains me to think it might be carelessly tossed aside. Every individual deserves a monument to commemorate their existence and be cherished by future generations.
