Old Bucket Handle Grip - Glued
prusaprinters
BackgroundI really liked TankerTech's bucket handle grip remix. It just needed a few updates for the buckets I had around. All the wire handles on my buckets were not straight enough to fit in the wire path between the two grip halves (see pic with faded bucket for reference). This required straightening the wire with pliers/hammer/vise to fit in the track for assembly.I remixed the design, rather than reworking the handle wire for all my buckets. I figured maybe some other old bucket owners out there like me would find this useful…if it does, let me know!Remix DetailsClearance was increased along the wire path to allow for imperfect old bucket handle wire like mine and changed to a hex profile for cleaner printing. The filament alignment holes were opened up slightly and changed to a hex profile to accommodate more dimensional variance from printer to printer.Printing & AssemblyPrinted in PETG @ 0.3mm layer, 3 perimeters, variable layer height for the wire path and the peaks of the handle features. Use some short filament pieces in the holes and assemble the halves with CA glue.
