Oil Filter Wrench for BMW R1200

I paid over $50 for this machined billet aluminum part, so I'm attempting to create a functional plastic counterpart. Work in Progress ----------------------- The design is solid but needs a few checks before I consider it complete. I'll be testing this soon on the bike to ensure it fits onto the filter without hitting any obstructions (like brackets for the skid plate). And I'm unsure if it will simply melt when it comes into contact with the filter on a warmed-up engine, but I plan to take a temperature reading of the hot filter (150C). We'll just have to wait and see. 2019-10-14 I added drive parts for: * 17mm hex socket. (Drive-17mm-hex.stl) 2019-05-07 I split this into two parts to allow for printing without supports. A dab of CA glue or epoxy should secure the parts together. You get to decide how to drive it. Included are drive parts for: * 10mm hex ( Drive-10mm-hex.stl) * 3/8" hex ( Drive-38-hex.stl) * 3/8" square. ( Drive-38-sq.stl)
