These work with the BMW caps used from '05 to '09 production years R1200. Later models use a visibly different cap. I sought a more effective tool than the one provided in the BMW toolkit. Two of these tools fit common ratchet wrenches, providing sufficient clearance for the fairing. The third tool uses the phillips bit from the toolkit, giving better leverage than the short OEM tool. I printed these tools in ABS for chemical resistance, at high resolution and with 50% infill for strength. Enjoy. Tool# 1 fits a 3/8" ratchet wrench. Tool# 2 fits a 1/4" ratchet wrench. Tool# 3 uses the BMW toolkit phillips bit as a handle.
