The 3D-printed Christmas tree model, created using 123D software, comprises two parts - the base and the star-topped tree. The tree is hollowed for light wiring, while LED bulbs are installed post-printing. Painted green with accent colors, the tree is connected to an Arduino Uno board featuring ten 3V LEDs in five colors, controlled by a Firmata sketch. Three processing sketches offer diverse functionalities: TreeLamp for sequential light blinking; TwitterTree, which listens to tweets containing a specific keyword and flashes lights accordingly; and MpTree/TreeTunes that use Minim with Beat listener to synchronize light patterns with music frequency. A video showcases the tree's functionality using these sketches.
