Ohio State's Tom W. Davis Clock Tower
thingiverse
A replica of the iconic Tom W. Davis clock tower at The Ohio State University stands tall. When its construction was completed late in 2017, all who laid eyes on it were amazed by its grandeur. Now you can own your very own Tom W. Davis clock tower to outshine your foes and leave your friends in awe. Designed in Solidworks based on a photograph of the tower at about 1:200 scale, this model is an exact replica. To print the basic geometry of the tower, simply print tomWDavisTower.STL. For a more detailed design, print clockTowerDetailed.STL along with all its accessories (clock face, minute hand pin, hour hand, and minute hand). The clock face and hands attach to the tower via friction-fit pins. With high-quality prints and some gentle sanding, the clock hands should rotate smoothly. If you have a small printer like I do, there are also files for printing the tower in two halves vertically connected by a pin.
