The intricately designed model is nearly to scale and includes all textures and materials. It features animateable propeller, opening hatches for the launch tube, retractable periscopes, antenna, and handrails. The torpedo tubes at the ship's front can be opened. For SSGN boats, each missile silo has 7 smaller launch tubes with individual sub hatches. The Ohio Class submarines were developed for the U.S Navy during the cold war, initially armed with Trident I missiles and later with Trident II. The original four - USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, Florida - faced retirement in 2002, but were refitted as non-nuclear guided missile launch platforms. They were equipped with 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles each in 22 launch tubes and Navy Seal equipment & boats.
