The intricately crafted model is built close to scale, featuring all textures and materials as shown. It boasts animatable propellers, openable launch tube hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, and handrails. Additionally, the torpedo tube doors upfront can be opened. For the SSGN boats, seven smaller launch tubes are installed in each missile silo, with individual sub hatches covering the interior launch tubes. The Ohio Class submarines were developed for the US Navy towards the end of the Cold War, initially equipped with Trident I missiles and later with Trident II missiles. The initial four boats - USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida - were set to retire in 2002 but were reassigned and refitted as non-nuclear guided missile launch platforms. Each of the 22 launch tubes now carries seven Tomahawk Cruise missiles, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats.
