The meticulously crafted model is nearly to scale, featuring all textures and materials as shown. It boasts animatable propeller, openable launch tube hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, and handrails. The torpedo tubes' doors can also be opened. For SSGN boats, I added 7 smaller launch tubes in each silo with individual sub hatches. Ohio Class submarines were developed for the US Navy during the cold war; initially armed with Trident I missiles, later upgraded to Trident II. The initial four boats – USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida – faced retirement in 2002. However, they were reassigned and refitted as non-nuclear guided missile platforms, accommodating 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles in each of the 22 launch tubes, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats.
