This intricate model is built almost to scale, featuring all textures and materials as depicted. It comes with an animated propeller, openable launch tube hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, and handrails. Additionally, the torpedo tube doors at the ship's front can be opened. The SSGN boats have 7 smaller tubes each within missile silos, with sub hatches covering the interior launch tubes. The Ohio Class submarines were developed for the United States Navy during the cold war era. Originally, these boats were equipped with Trident I missiles, later upgraded to Trident II missiles. Despite being planned for retirement in 2002, the first four ships - USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida - were reassigned and refitted as non-nuclear guided missile launch platforms. Each of the 22 launch tubes now carries 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats.
