The meticulously constructed Ohio Class submarine is designed nearly to scale with all textures and materials included. It features animateable propeller, opening launch tube hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, handrails, and torpedo tube doors that can be opened. For the re-designated SSGN boats, there are 7 smaller launch tubes installed in each of the missile silos, each with its own sub hatch covering the interior launch tube. Developed for the United States Navy at the end of the Cold War, these submarines initially had Trident I missiles and later Trident II missiles. The original four boats - USS Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida - were set to retire in 2002 but were reassigned and refitted as non-nuclear guided missile launch platforms. Each of the 22 launch tubes now carries 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats.
