The intricately designed Ohio Class submarine model is built to scale with all textures and materials included. It features animateable propeller, opening launch tube hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, handrails, and torpedo tube doors at the front of the ship. The original four boats were planned for retirement but were reassigned and refitted as non-nuclear guided missile platforms with 7 Tomahawk Cruise missiles fitted into each of 22 launch tubes, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats. Developed near the end of the Cold War for the United States Navy, these submarines initially carried Trident I and later Trident II missiles. For SSGN boats, 7 smaller launch tubes have been installed in each missile silo with individual sub hatches covering the interior launch tube.
