I'm working on a 3D-printable shell for my functional Tricorder that I've designed over the past couple years. Project details can be found here: https://hackaday.io/project/132098-science-tricorder-by-olympus-heavy-industries. The main body part comes in two variants, one with a space for a magnetic reed switch and one without. The magnetic reed switch would be triggered by a magnet in the door assembly. The door's control panel is designed to accommodate very thin wire that can be run into it, glued down, and connected to a capacitive controller. The main body part allows a 70x80mm mainboard to be installed. Required parts include: - 2 Hinges (3/4" x 1" Butt Hinge, Black, Item #44445, https://www.rockler.com/butt-hinges-for-small-boxes-3-4quot-height) - 10 m2 10mm buttoncap screws (I used Torx t-6 for this) - 2 m2 15mm socket head screws (same Torx t-6) - 8 small nylon washers - 8 2mm nuts The 123dx file is included, and anyone who wants to make changes can let me know!
